DESCRIPTION:
Life's Revelations is a song that has been in my musical mind for some time. And like many of my other compositions it has evolved over time into what I eventually arranged and recorded here. The recording process for me is an additional compositional tool. In this composition, I began the recording process with the guitar part and basic melody clearly defined. I recorded the guitar, which I wanted to feature, and then started to build around it. The instrumentation, combinations and harmonies grew out of the recording process.
I am reluctant to add a detailed description of what the composition means to me. I don't want to color your listening experience. Let me just say that this composition, for me, represents several personal revelations over a long period of time, the last of which occurred just two months ago in the majestic Rocky mountains of Colorado and while in Oklahoma shortly after.
I'm glad you stopped by. I encourage you to listen to this composition and perhaps allow it to transport you to and through some of your life's revelations. I hope you enjoy!
I dedicate this recording to the memories of David W. Mugg Sr., my father-in-law and David W. Mugg Jr., my brother-in-law. Both of them were extraordinary and unique men throughout their lives.

I have been looking for a place to post my songs. I'm glad you found it. I've been playing acoustic guitar and bass for
some time. This site for me, is a place to share my music. You'll find mostly original, but also songs that have special meaning to me. Songs that I thought would be neat to record myself. So, take a look around. I'll add more as I finish them. Blessings,
