about

DESCRIPTION:
So, my lovely niece Malin came to visit. While here in the beautiful midwest, I had the distinct pleasure of accompanying her while she sang this song at our church. With only a few days left before she was to return home we decided to sit down in my recording studio and record this. Malin has just started her 8th grade year in school and has, for as long as I can remember, had an angelic sounding voice, made even more special as she selflessly uses the gift she's been given to praise God. Thank you Malin.

lyrics

LYRICS:
Though I may speak with bravest fire,
and have the gift to all inspire,
And have not love; my words are vain,
as sounding brass, and hopeless gain.

Though I may give all I possess,
and striving so my love profess,
But not be giv'n by love within
the profit soon turns strangely thin.

Come, Spirit come,
our hearts control.
Our spirits long to be made whole.
Let inward love guide ev'ry deed.
By this we worship and are freed

Amen.

Paul Palan - Life In Between Lincoln, Nebraska

I have been looking for a place to post my songs. I'm glad you found it. I've been playing acoustic guitar and bass for some time. This site for me, is a place to share my music. You'll find mostly original, but also songs that have special meaning to me. Songs that I thought would be neat to record myself. So, take a look around. I'll add more as I finish them. Blessings,
Paul
