DESCRIPTION:
This track is finger-style acoustic guitar. Most of this song I wrote several years ago. In fact, after putting my young children to bed I would use the "quiet" and "free" time to play guitar and compose. This usually took place strolling in the hallway outside their bedrooms. This was soothing for my captive audience and productive for me. Over time I tweaked some parts and added others, but the tune never felt complete to me. There were several interesting parts but it seemed like it needed one final piece to be finished. Well, that piece came a week before I was set to record it. My wife and I were planning a visit to our son and his family in beautiful southern California last January. I had asked my son if he would video record me playing this song. Three days before we were to leave for CA the last piece of this melody came to me. This audio track is that recording. It was recorded entirely outdoors, nestled in the beautiful hills near Hemet, CA. If you're interested in viewing the video, Click Here: vimeo.com/37529198
